- The 30-day free trial lets you add that 5th round and see your handicap without being charged during those 30 days. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing.
- Nothing is ever deleted. If a subscription lapses, your rounds are kept — they become visible again the moment you resubscribe.

Free is a 4-round account: create it without a card, log up to 4 rounds, and view them whenever you like. Pro (£2.99/month, 30-day free trial) is for golfers who want to keep going — unlimited rounds and automatic WHS handicap calculation, which needs a rolling history of scores to stay accurate.
Your account switches from the free 4-round tier to the subscription tier. From that point, an active Pro subscription is required to view any of your rounds when you log in — including the original 4, not just the rounds beyond 4. The 30-day free trial covers this, so you can add a 5th round and see your handicap without being charged during those 30 days.
Four rounds is enough to see your scorecards, stats and leaderboards and decide whether MyBirdieBoard is for you. Beyond that, tracking is only genuinely useful when it's continuous — a full, ongoing history is what Pro pays for.
Nothing is deleted. Your rounds stay safely in your account. But because the account holds 5 or more rounds, you'll need an active subscription to view your round history again — including your first 4 rounds. Resubscribe at any time and everything is exactly as you left it.
30 days. You can cancel any time before it ends and you won't be charged. There is no 7-day trial — the trial is 30 days.
